Winter holidays are a wonderful time! So many exciting and exciting things to do! Here and sledding, skiing, skating, and simple snowball games and much, much more.
However, we must not forget about the safety rules. If you follow them, you will save yourself and your loved ones from misfortune. Simple and understandable rules will help you maintain life and health and get only positive emotions from winter.
Safety rules when on the ice of water bodies.
Ice on water bodies is treacherous and fraught with great danger. The fact is that water bodies freeze unevenly, which means that the thickness of the ice can change.
Ice on water bodies is a high-risk area for children who decided to play on ice or skate on it, and just those who decided to cut their way and walk on ice.
Remember - without knowing certain rules, you CANNOT go out on ice!!!
So let's list the rules of conduct on ice:
In no case do not go out onto the thin, fragile ice of the reservoir, if it is loose, and in some places water appears.
Safe ice - transparent, at least 10-12 cm thick.
Milky white ice is twice as weak as transparent.
The most dangerous is the nostril ice formed from frozen snow.
Do not go out on the ice if you are alone and there is no one within sight who could come to your aid.
If you accidentally hit the thin ice surface of the reservoir, and the ice begins to crack, the main thing is to stay calm. Do not panic, if possible, return to a safer place in the following ways: carefully and quickly lie on the ice and crawl to a safe place or slowly move back with careful sliding steps without taking your feet off the ice.
In no case jump on ice, also do not run on it.
Winter is not only frost and sun, but also a slippery, dangerous road!
Winter is a bright sun, blue sky, the crunch of snow underfoot on a frosty day. But, on the other hand, winter is snowfall, drifts, a slippery road, thaws with ice, limited visibility on the road, short daylight hours - this is a very difficult period for both drivers and pedestrians. That is why tell your children how to behave correctly on or around the roads in the winter season.
Explain to them that the day is shorter in winter. It darkens early and very quickly. At dusk and in the dark, visibility deteriorates significantly, and it is easy to make a mistake in determining the distance, both to the driving car and to stationary objects.
Therefore, the main rule of behavior on the road in winter is double attention and increased caution!
